Well, you see the pictures below. What more do you need?? =)
After staying at Buenos Aires, we went to see the Iguazu Falls for a couple of days. We stayed at Sheraton Hotel, the only hotel inside the Iguazu National Park on the Argentina side. The staff was very friendly, and the food was excellent. Our view was not bad -- we got the jungle view. Because we were inside the national park, we could walk down the trails to see the waterfalls whenever we wanted during the day. If you go see Iguazu Falls, I highly recommend that you stay at Sheraton. Each time you enter the park to see the falls, you have to pay an entrance fee. If you stay at Sheraton, you only pay once and you go whenever you want to.
We had a private tour guide, took a boat ride, and toured the jungle. But the waterfalls themselves pretty much speak for themselves. Iguazu Falls are in both Argentina and Brazil, but the trails are more extensive in Argentina. Supposedly, 275 waterfalls make up the Iguazu Waterfalls. Unfortunately, there were heavy damages to two of the trails and were inaccessible due to heavy rains that fell a week before we arrived. So, we didn't really get to see the Devil's Throat, supposedly the mother of all waterfalls. We also didn't get to go to the San Martin Island, because the part where it was accessible was submerged under water. Whatever the case, we were still impressed. And I got to see one of the natural wonders of the world!
We also got to see some interesting animals because Iguazu Falls is located inside a subtropical jungle. I got to see monkeys! I also tried to take pictures of pretty birds flying about, but they were too far away.
After staying luxuriously and comfortably for a couple of days, we flew down to Trelew to take a tour of Peninsula Valdes -- Patagonia!!
